Meet Dr. Kirk Van Metre, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

A personal experience. A lifelong calling.

In 1992, Kirk was a professional water skier at SeaWorld when he seriously injured his back while barefoot skiing backwards. Chiropractic care in his hometown of Madison, Wisconsin, inspired him to become a chiropractor.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1994 and Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia, in 1998. Today, his approach continues to be shaped by understanding what it means to get back to the life you enjoy.

Our modern Hi-Lo table gently moves from standing to a treatment position and back again, making visits easier for patients who find a traditional table difficult to use.

Our full digital X-ray facility brings necessary imaging into the comfort and convenience of our office, without routinely needing a separate trip to an imaging facility.

When clinically indicated, our high-tech digital X-ray system captures detailed images of the spine, extremities, and other joints. Images can provide valuable information about spinal alignment, bone and joint structure, degenerative changes, arthritis, previous injuries, and findings that may not be apparent through consultation and physical examination alone.

Our doctors combine these images with your health history, consultation, and physical examination to better understand your condition and determine an appropriate, individualized treatment plan.
